Media and Teachnology Changes our Value System

Nowadays,we observe that we are very high tech in just a glimpse of an eye all things will be possible.Many technologies are invented to make our life more easier and comfortable.it really helps us a lot,as a matter of fact,people today are more interesting to buy modern technologies and gadgets rather than buying something which is operated manually.yeah, very true technologies today is a very helpful instrument to us human beings.

Media howeveris conseder as part of our daily life,but not all we have seen and hear in Media is true and reliable there are some but not all,some are just example of what we call criativity of human mind.examples of media is the thing we see in television,we hear in radio and as well as in internet.Media is world wide,everywhere in the world nowadays are connected becaause of media we will know the events even in the other part of the world.



The value system today especially in teenager are quite different from our past generations, there are many changes takes place as the world become more high tech and the media influence us.It is sad to say that many children today prefer to watch TV or text rather than doing household chores,teenager are more interesting in internet than using a book ang many are prefering to have night out than studying thier lessons.Many changes takes place as time goes by because of new technology and media which serves as the most influential thigs to many children nowadays.

Legend of Barangay Sankanan>>>

Barangay Sankanan is found in the northern part of Bukidnon, It is found in the Municipality of Manolo Fortich in Bukidnon.which is known because of the well-grown pineapple, actually before reaching to our place we will pass to a wide pineapple plantation.In this place my heart belongs and I belong in this place because this is my hometown.


According to the Natives in our place its original name was SANGKAANAN which means War Zone, in this place many battles takes place during the time of Spanish Colonization.from the name Sangkaanan the people there decided to change it into Sankanan so that it is easier to pronounce.The people in this place is visayan speaker,its a rural community with simple houses are built, it is far from a city it takes 45 mins to reach the City of CAgayan de oro

Until now we are using the name sankanan but its not sankanan which is known to be the battle zone but now it is known as the cleanest and greenest barangay in the whole Municipality of Manolo Fortich, It is a very peaceful place,the people are friendly...like me...ahem...and these place is best describe to be the most peaceful place to live...

Poverty is Not A Hindrance to success!

During one of the graduation ceremony in our school a certain guest speaker one's told a story about a young boy whose selling bibingka after going to school. he came from a less fortunate family, they only learn their living in selling bibingka,his father and mother is helping each other in making bibingka and being the eldest boy in the family, he is responsible in selling it. they are 4 in the family he is the second child. but this boy is not just an ordinary bibingka vendor because this young boy has a brilliant mind. He always stands top in their class not only academically but also in extra curricular activities. actually he became the class valedictorian during his elementary and high school graduation ceremony. after high school he know that his family could not afford to send him in college that's why he ask for help in their principal and that principal help him to take the CHED scholarship and because he is intelligent enough he pass the exam and finally studied in one of the university in Bukidnon.and earn a degree "Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education". he finished his college without recognition but during the teacher's lisensure examination he ranked top 10 in the whole country.see? from a bibingka boy to a topnotcher?, their whole community celebrate his victory because it is really an achievement to be on top. But what surprise us is that boy and the boy whose talking to us that particular time is the same. we never thought that he is telling his story to us. He is Mr. Albert Villanca, an alumnus in our school, he is now teaching at bukidnon state University Elementary School Laboratory.He is now helping his family in sending his siblings in school as well.

This is one proof that Poverty is not a hindrance to success because if you have the courage, determination dedication and trust to yourself nothing is impossible, all you need to do is do your best and God will do the rest, don't waste any opportunity that that God given to you. Chances came only once in a lifetime so grab it, use it and succeed from it

Major Major =)

Last August 24, 2010, The major beauty pageant was held in Las Vegas Nevada. The Ms. Universe Pageant. Ms Maria Venus Raj represents our country in the said pageant. we are Happy that she made it to top 5 candidates out of 86 candidates, if I'm not mistaken.
Many people were very disappointed because how she answer the question is very surprising. the question was...."What is the major mistake that comes in your life and hoe you over come it?". Her answer was ..."In my 22 years of existence I never encounter any major, major, I mean problem because I am very confident to my self and to my family, the love they gave me" See? What an answer?how calm she don't have a major problem? How about when her crown was attempted to stole because somebody is questioning her nationality?For, we all know that she is not a pure Filipino. But in spite of that she proved to everybody that she is a Filipino and that's why she made it to Ms. Universe Pageant.
Ms. Venus Raj is truly a Filipino to be proud of... so even if that was happened we should salute her and we should be thankful to her for she raise the flag of our country.After 12 years of waiting, at last we made it again to the top, The last time we made it to top 5 is during the time of Miriam Qiambao who got the 1st runner-up spot.but I think if Venus answer the question more precise and more beautifully maybe we have now the new Ms. universe 2010.

Have Faith?!

I'm so tired today. I have to do so many things...I don't know where to start...We have many projects, requirements and midterm exams. After a one week holiday because of the PALAKASAN in our school MSU-IIT instead of relaxing,jurag2x,and having pleasures, here I am very stress of doing many things...here is the takehome exam in math...nosebleed...reaction papers in Filipino, Narrative about Riza'l's teaching in History, Practicum in P.E, Midterms in History, Psychology and Filipino and many many other things to do...my God help me..
God is my strenght I know that he is always there to help us in times of problems and confusion. All we need to do is Trust on him and Have faith in him... like what the saying goes..."I will do my best and God will do the rest" I really believe in this saying I know someday, somehow I will become a succesful person after all the sufferings I been through here in college. I know all these are just trials that could help me to become a strong and better person.
All I need to do know is try my best to accomplish all the task that needs to accomplish. As long as I have Faith to God I know I can make it..Good luck to me...

Friendship; The Best Gift..:-)

No man is an Island....A very famous quote that everybody can relate. Not only in relationships but also in friendships. I think none of us don't have a friend, Life is miserable without any one to talk to,to share one's problem and sharing the same thoughts.
In the story The Carpenters Gift its so amazing a carpenter reconnect the two brothers after having a quarrel by building a bridge between their houses.Instead of building a fence to actually broke their connection the carpenter find way to make them reconcile,I truly salute the carpenter in his deed for if not because of him the conflict of the two brother will be longer, And I think the attitude of the younger one who first lend his hand to his older brother after he saw the bridge is also good because it is not easy also to forget all those memories they shared for years and of course even how will they ignore each other the fact that they are brothers they can't deny it.
I think being humble is the best way to resolve any conflict you have because I know if you have enemy or someone that you have misunderstanding,the two of you will keep on ignoring each other because of too much pride, but if your humble then its easy for you to reunite to someone especially if you have a good memory together.Agree?

Read, Read, Read!

Reading is the best thing to do.for through reading you will be earning more knowledge and you can apply it to your daily living by reading you will learn many things.
While reading a story I think I didn't have a hard time to read,although I don't have what so called "Reading Habit" because the story is short and interesting its about the mount APO in Davao the tallest mountain in the Philippines that's why I am interesting.
I don't know Why I really find it boring reading very long stories or anything that is very long to read maybe because I don't use to read more and when I read a lot my head is aching and my eyes too. That's why I really really had hard time reading the novel because its very long and I'm not fan of reading long stories.I think its a challenge to me to improve my reading skills and my reading habit all I need to do is to

Is it hard to say thank you?

Saying thank you is one of a very simple thing that we sometimes often forgot to say. It is simply showing appreciation to any favor that was given to us, not only by doing something to others in action but also by simply caring,loving sending text saying thank you.
While reading the story No one stops to say "thank you" anymore I realize that we are very lucky that we are filipinos. Why? because it is in our nature to say thank you in every little things a person done to us,unlike in america where the story happen that they are not minding everyone around them except for the homeless man who really says thank you when somebody open the door for him for he is taking hard time to do it because he has many baggage to carry. All the people in that restaurant is teasing him because he is untidy but he didn't mind them instead he thank the man who help him while those who tease him don't do that. In short although that man is untidy but he has a manner that clean people in that place dont have.
What about manners? are we Filipinos has a good manner? Yes, absolutely we filipinos are really courtious in showing manners to others. Even in our childhood we practice these manners we are being thought by our parents to show good manners to other people, Sometimes our society really affect our manners especially when we are in school we are very expose to different kind of people,children are imitating what they saw around them but good for us because our parents correct us if they saw us not showing manners to other people but in america according to the story the parents there just get there sons and transfer it in other place without saying sorry to the person their son was step up while running to his sibling.So, if a child is not thought by their parents even saying thank you or sorry in every minor situation they incounter then how these children adjust when they incounter the major situation? Its really hard to them. So I think we should show good manners to other because It is one way also of showing respect and telling them thank you to good and bad things they done and sorry for the things we done wrong.so, what are you waiting for? do it now! all we need to remember that we are all equal no one is superior and inferior.

Determination is a key to success if we have determination their is always a possibility to succeed. We need to work hard in order for us to succeed,We need 1 million time+5million knowledge+1million effort+2million courage+1million faith+5million determination=Success.
Even if how knowledgeable you are if you don't have determination you will never succeed but if you have determination even if your knowledge is only limited but you are willing to learn,sacrifice and exert effort to succeed then it is possible that in the future you will be successful.The saying is true if a person don't have determination then his/her goals,dreams and mission in life will never come true but a person is determined to reach that dream or goal then he/she must do something in order to reach that,even how poor they are,how limited are their resources.He must find any alternative to make it happen.
impossible will be possible if you don't do something about it.Not all impossible things will be possible like if you want to fly like birds even how much determination you exert it would be very impossible maybe it will be possible if you will ride on an airplane,right? Only impossible goals and dreams will be possible if you have determination.
Psychmates we must have this determination to reach our goals and dreams. We must be patient to wait until the time that we will be very successful. God Bless us...

My prelim exam!

Study......Study......Study......
This was the thing that all students must do when their exams is fast approaching.Today I just finish my prelim examination in Math2,its the college algebra.Its quiet hard but its okay I answer all the questions but I am not sure if all my answer is correct.I hope I pass the exam because I studied my lesson last night,and I know my classmates also did that so I hope they will also pass the exam.Anyway their is still midterm and finals,we can still cope-up.
Next week more exams to come in my other subjects such as English 1&3,Psyc 1,history 1, Fil. 1 and P.E. 1.So I need to study much harder so that I will get high scores in all my subjects.There is no room for laziness this time if we want high scores then we need to do our best because our future depends on us. If we take for granted our studies then Its our lost in the future.We are lucky enough that our parents send us to school so we need to pay our parents back by doing good in school and graduate with flying colors.

The movie I choose is my favorite movie.This is intitled Armageddon starring Bruce Willis,Lev Tyler and Ben Affleck.I like this movie because it is very inspiring and very memorable to me.Inspiring because it talks about sacrifice of a father for his daughter and a sacrifice to save the world.It is memorable to me because this movie made me cry.I will tell you a summary of the movie.
While fixing a satellite in orbit, the space shuttle atlantis is destroyed by a meteor shower,killing the entire crew.Meteorites then bombard New York City and several other parts of the world,and NASA discovers that an asteroid the size of Texas will collide with Earth in 18 days,effectively destroy the planet.NASA and other space agency plan to detonate a nuclear bomb at precise point under the asteroid's surface which will split it in two.The mission is not revealed to the publict,fearing panic.
NASA locates Harry Stamper(Bruce Willis), because he could help them drill a hole on the asteroid.Harry bring his daughter Grace(Liv Tyler)to keep her away from A.J.(Ben Affleck). A young member of his crew who he has just discover sleeping with her daughter.He is very disappointed about it.Head of NASA Dan Truman informs Harry about the situation so Harry Decide to bring with him his crew and demands 12-day training.
After a meteorite strikes Shanghai,China,Destroying the City and causing Tsunami,the incoming asteroid and pending mission are reveled to the world.Two military shuttles, Freedom and Independence were sent to the outer space.As they enter the asteroids wake,the Independence struck by debris and crashlands on the asteroid, killing most of its crew and lost its communication to the earth,the mission is put on hold,as the bombs timer activated by orders from U.S. President to ensure mission succeed.They encounter many difficulties along the way.When they reach the asteroid they encounter the decision of staying in the asteroid to detonate the bomb.A.J. was choosen after the drawing straw,but Harry disables A.J.'s air supply and takes his place.As the shuttle departed, Harry send a message for his daughter giving his full support for her to marry A.J..Exactly when the deadline come Harry detonate the bomb causing the asteroid to split in two and miss the earth,at the cost of his own life.The remaining crew of freedom and independence return to earth as heroes.Grace and A.J. soon get married while other lost crew member are memorialized.
That's how the story goes... for me its very amazing that a man give his life for the earth to save mankind and a father who give his life for his daughters happiness.Hope you would watch the movie its very nice.

Soar high like an EAGLE!

All of us has a mission in our life.Our mission is something that we want to achieve, something that we want to have to make our existence worth living.In order to achieve our missions we need to follow a step by step procedure to be successful and finally soar up up high.
Like anybody else I have also my mission in life.My mission is to earn my degree in this university and graduate with flying colors so that if I will seek for a job in the future I can easily find one.I want to be a psychologist someday.A psychologist that inspire people in her own little way doing good deeds.aside from that I want also to help my family financially because we are not financially stable.I want them to live a comfortable life someday.
But having a mission is not easy to accomplish you will pass through a needle hole to succeed.You must have a determination to achieve your goal. Courage,Strength,Wisdom,Knowledge and Faith to GOD is also needed.following a step by step procedure is not easy it takes time to reach the top but once you reach the top all your sacrifices.Being far from your family,All limited sleeping hours and your your worries will fade away.Like what the line say's....."today is sacrifice But Tomorrow is paradise...
